Now the family has something to celebrate and a baby whose name is a tribute to his grandfather. `we wish the Gifford family nothing but health, happiness, and love as they expand. Kathie's daughter-in-law, Erica Gifford, posted three images of her son to celebrate the milestone. In the first, Frank sits with a spoon in his hand and food smeared around a wide-open, smiling mouth. Sipping wine, writing songs, and welcoming small-town living with this television icon.
Kathie Lee Gifford’s Nashville home is often filled with musicians. And if there’s one place to go to focus on music, it’s Nashville. "'Oh, we can't leave them out,' and, 'Oh, their feelings are gonna be hurt.' This just got it down to the nitty gritty -- who is closest family. It ended up being precious." Kathie Lee's daughter Cassidy got married in June to her partner Ben Wierda, while her son Cody tied the knot to his partner Erika at the beginning of September. Most recently, the TV presenter took to Instagram to share some exciting news about a one-off cinema event taking part on 30 September, where fans can watch the movie.

And while the house is beloved by both her and her two children, after her retirement from TODAY, Gifford told People she needed a change. Although Kathie Lee loved living in Connecticut, the home she had shared with her family had turned into a reminder of sad times. Cody and Cassidy grew up and moved out of the house, and just a few years later, in 2015, Frank Gifford passed away at the age of 84. “That huge beautiful memory-filled home was like a morgue to me,” Kathie Lee told USA Today.

In 1998, Kathie and her husband bought a small vintage home in the downtown area of Nantucket. It had a small driveway but sat very close to the sidewalk, as most of the older homes in the area do. However, they sold the home after a short while because it did not offer the pair the privacy they desired. Instead, they purchased a $5.8 million home in a much more secluded and more remote area of the island.
In November 2019, she appeared on the “Today” show and shared that she has been living more happily after her relocation. “Happy Birthday to the woman who shines brightly, is precious with baby Frank and makes us all laugh so hard we sometimes pooje and to the warmest giant of a man in heaven. We all miss you,” Erika captioned a photo of her mother-in-law and the baby. Now, with Cody living in the Connecticut house and Cassidy and her husband, Ben Wierda, living nearby in Nashville, Gifford is overjoyed to have "my children back in my life in both homes." Telling PEOPLE that she loves going back to the New York area for visits after moving to Tennessee in 2019, she added, "but my son and his wife live there now. And that just makes me so happy."

The tragic event left the television personality devastated, and although she had children, the void in her life could not be filled. Gifford originally bought the home with her husband back in 1998 for $3.9 million. The mansion is an incredible 11,419 square foot, sits on .44 acres, and features eight bedrooms and eight bathrooms. It has a beautiful location too, as it sits right on the edge of the water and is about 1.5 hours drive from the center of Miami. She transformed one of the outdoor areas into a fully equipped bar which overlooks the beautiful water and is where she hosts many a summer party with family and friends. There is also a private dining area with a huge dining table which sits directly next to the water’s edge.
